بشكل لا يصدق، ودعاة الإنجيل يتحولون إلى الإسلام. الأم "إيريك" تكساس المعمدان كان على وشك أن يصبح كاهنا. المهنية للمرأة كاترين، الذين تتراوح أعمارهم بين ست وعشرين سنة، وتخرج من جامعة تكساس المسيحية. قضى "ديفيد" ثماني سنوات خدم بلاده في سلاح الجو، وكان فخور أن يكون المرء أميركيا. جميع المتورطين في جهة، هم جزء من موجة جديدة من الأمريكيين المحافظين بأنها "ياسمين" تم التخلي عن الإسلام والتعليم المسيحي. وقال اريك وكاثرين وديفيد مسلمون جدد من ولاية تكساس في هذا الفيلم قصصهم في أحضان الدين الجديد، مما يشير إلى أنهم يواجهون مشاكل في العلاقات مع أقاربهم وأصدقائهم .. كانوا جميعا يجهلون إلى حد كبير للإسلام. ولكن في خضم التعصب والهستيريا الجماعية التي تلت أحداث الحادي عشر من سبتمبر، شعرت الفضول حقيقية لرؤية هذا الدين من "الجديد" وشعرت بإعجاب كبير المودة تجاه الخالق، والشعور أنه قد فقد معظمها. هذا الفيلم يقدم رؤية لياسمين الدين الجديد يقول: أعتقد أن الإسلام يقدم طريقة جديدة للحياة لكثير من الناس في أمريكا، وأعتقد أن الحل الوحيد لجميع مشاكلنا، وكثير من الشرور الدنيوية السائدة في المجتمع، مثل كما الجريمة وإدمان المخدرات .. فضلا عن معدلات عالية جدا من الطلاق والزنا والدعارة .. كل هذه الأمور هي أمور مدمرة للنسيج الأخلاقي لأي مجتمع. تقيم هذا الفيلم ونظرة مسلية في الحياة مع عدد من السكان البيض من تكساس الذين قرروا اعتناق الإسلام كوسيلة لدعم التقاليد المحافظة والأخلاق وإيمان قوي في قيم الأسرة والمجتمع نظيفة، على الرغم من الثقافة الأميركية تغرس في نفوسهم وحبهم لبلدهم
